UET Lahore DAE Eligibility
Being oldest engineering university of Pakistan UET holds responsibility for creating opportunity for broader classes of students. Now-a-days, due to increased competition in FSc, many students go for 3-years Engineering Diploma programs. Their are separate seats for Diploma Holders in UET. This year, UET announced its updated eligibility criteria for Diploma holders. IT shows that now many more types of DAEs are eligible for admission in UET Lahore which is a good thing. For example unlike previous years, a student with diploma of Avionics technology or diploma of Information Technology or diploma of Mechanical Instrumentation is now eligible for admission in Electrical Engineering.

NUST DAE Eligibility
This year, NUST has also taken a step ahead by making DAEs eligible to get admission in university.
Eligibility criteria for all Engineering Programs at NUST:
- Should have completed DAE with minimum 60% marks in Matric as well as DAE
- The detail of Engineering programmes offered to DAE candidates as approved by PEC is given below:-

Sir mere DAE me 88% marks haen aur Ecat me kitne marks chaheyen k main NUST me admission le skun.aur please Nust ki mechanical engineering ki DAE SEats b btayen
NUST mein admission k lye ECAT k marks count nahi hote. NUST ka separate test hota hai jiski 75% weightage hoti hai. is k ilawa 10% matric aur 15% DAE k marks count honge. so you should also appear in NUST entry test.
and i don’t know about number of seats in NUST for DAE.
sir mere matrix main 550 marks that aur ICS main kitnay chahiye agar uet main ya nust main software engineering main admission Lena ho to
NUST mein admission NUST entry test pe (75% weight of nust entry test) depend krta hai. UET mein admission k lye 76% aggregate hona chahye (70% ICS + 30% ECAT)
